Babul Bhatt from Bombay, IndiaTali, thanks for visiting my photoblog. you have a good camera. keep clicking and you will improve in a few months. in this pix i find that the flash is too harsh on your subject. try to click in available lights without flash :) 27 Jan 2008 5:21am @Babul Bhatt: Thank You for visiting mine! :) pLusOne from Cheonan, South KoreaNice close-up but looks a little soft for me. 27 Jan 2008 5:47am @pLusOne: thanks for stopping by! Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA very beautiful and unusual flower, Tali. 27 Jan 2008 6:48am @Michael Skorulski: Thank You Michael! Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, Indiai liked the colours..nice flower. as for the technical aspects, im jus a beginner, so I'm afraid I dont know much..Hopin to learn too,as time goes by.. :) 27 Jan 2008 7:11am @Nishana Minhaz: Just stopping by to say hello is more then kind, Thank You! juant3 from Bremen, GermanyReally nice shot of this flower... Like how clear one can see the center of it... I am a little jealous that you were able to see it so open! :o) I have the plant at home (I think it is the same kind) and last year it gave two flowers for the first time! One of them opened only for one day (you can see it here), the other, well I didn't even get to notice if it did anything at all. :o( So thanks for sharing it with us!!! 27 Jan 2008 10:16am @juant3: Thank you so much!! And I am so glad you got to see one here at least!!! Thank you for stopping by!!! @Steven: Thanks! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWow, splendid, fantastic close-up and oh so sophisticated ;) 27 Jan 2008 11:03am @Lorraine: Thank you so much!! That is very kind!! Jeff from Honolulu, United StatesA beautiful flower. I suspect that it was growing in deep shade, as this kind of plant often does, which makes it difficult to photograph unless you have a lens that opens up more than f/5.6 or you have a tripod and can use a long exposure. You've captured the colors well. Keep up the good work. 27 Jan 2008 11:07am @Jeff: Sadly I have no tripod and it (the flower) both grows in the shade and this was taken at night!!! I am working on getting some better lenses and a tripod now... And thank you so much!!! @Zsolt: Thank you so much! @Mohammad1973: Thank you!! Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaBeautiful flower and nice photo, maybe the focus a tad too soft, or could it be that you posted it more than 800 p wide and it was resized by am3 with a loss in sharpness? 27 Jan 2008 2:25pm @Wolfgang Prigge: Both are possible! I just post and have not sat down to fully understand how to resize etc... So I am not sure which is the case... Something else I must learn!! Thank you so much though! @Jen: Thank You! @Dhini: Thank You!! @priya: Thank You. Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesAnother great macro with beautiful color and contrast with the white of the flower's interior. 27 Jan 2008 6:15pm @Steven: Thank you so much!! @standley: Thank you!! That is most kind! @Graham Russon: Thank you very much! @MaryB: Thank you so much! Camiller from Lisboa, PortugalReally nice macro. Great contrast between the green background and the flower colour. 27 Jan 2008 10:50pm @Camiller: Thank you so very kindly! @Forouz: Thanks! @Brites: Thank You! @Photographs by M.E.: thank you! Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThis is a rare beauty and I hope you did more takes of it! 28 Jan 2008 12:55pm @Japanalia: Yes I have a few, but the one I placed here was best due to shadows ( it was taken at night) And thank you very much! |
